The Gambia and Austria, on Tuesday, formally signed a bilateral agreement focused on Defence and Security Cooperation, specifically addressing small arms, light weapons, and stockpile management. 

This significant development follows a three-day visit by Austria’s Defence Vice Minister, who engaged in extensive discussions with Gambian officials.
