Suspected terrorists launched a violent attack on Bwari Area Council of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, early Sunday, kidnapping four and killing one. 

The over one-hour assault started well after midnight as armed assailants stormed homes unchecked by authorities. With no intervention from security forces despite distress calls, over 30 attackers wreaked havoc with impunity.
