The Al Miskin IDP Camp in Borno State, Nigeria, meant to shelter those displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency, has instead become a place of fear for many women and girls.

Despite official claims of safety, victims and their families describe a harsh reality of exploitation and neglect. Many women face sexual violence but remain silent out of fear of stigma and retaliation.

As reports of abuse grow, advocacy groups and humanitarian organizations are calling for urgent action to protect vulnerable women and hold perpetrators accountable.
