The Nigerian Organised Labour enters the dying hours of the one-week grace period given to the Federal Government last Tuesday, June 4, 2024, regarding their minimum wage negotiations.
The Organised Labour says it won’t accept any ₦62,000 or ₦100,000 “starvation wage” as the new minimum wage for Nigerian workers.
The situation could escalate because the Organised Labour has warned that it will resume the nationwide strikes it only relaxed last week should their demands not be met.
The current ultimatum to the government will expire by the midnight of today, Tuesday, June 11.
