On Street Parliament, a section of Ghanaians has been assessing the performance of Parliament’s Appointments Committee.
The committee has been vetting President John Mahama’s ministerial nominees for over a week, but some Ghanaians have criticized it for needlessly prolonging sessions with certain nominees and also not being thorough with some of their questioning.
Interestingly, not long after these concerns were raised, the Appointments Committee descended into chaos following a disagreement over the extension of vetting time to accommodate additional nominees on Thursday evening.
