STREET PARLIAMENT – Building a Formidable Tourism sector through Janjenbureh Settlement
Tourism plays a crucial role in Gambia’s economy as it is one of the most important revenue avenues for the government.
The sector contributes about 20% of Gambia’s Gross Domestic Product GDP.
Janjanbureh is one of the tourist attraction centres in the country.
During the 200-year celebration recently, our Banjul correspondent Sankulleh Janko spoke to the National Assembly Member of Janjanbureh Omar Jammeh on the importance of the settlement.
