Senegal’s Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko is in Ouagadougou to attend the official inauguration of the Thomas Sankara Mausoleum, held today, Saturday. The event honors the legacy of the iconic revolutionary leader nearly four decades after his assassination.
Upon his arrival on Friday, Sonko was warmly received by Burkina Faso’s President, Captain Ibrahim Traoré. The two leaders held a private audience at the presidential palace.
