The government of Sierra Leone has received approval for a 19.5 million dollar grant from the African Development Bank targeted at improving livelihood for women and youth.

Titled the “Job Creation for Youth and Women in Climate Smart Agriculture Value Chains and Waste Management” the aims to enhance agricultural production chains that employ young people.

These include cassava and fisheries sub-sectors.
