President Bassirou Diomaye Faye is traveling to France today, Wednesday, as part of his first official visit outside of Africa.
Faye, who was inaugurated on April 2, will take part in the Global Forum for Vaccine Sovereignty and Innovation, which aims to give Africa more sovereignty to address the many health crises on the continent.
The summit is scheduled for Thursday, June 20 in Paris.
