Senegal’s national conference on justice came to a close yesterday.

After a week’s work, the reform and modernization commissions submitted their recommendations.

Several agreements were reached, including limiting the powers of the public prosecutor and digitizing judicial procedures.

The various recommendations will be forwarded to the Senegalese President on June 17.
