The scheduled date for the 2024 presidential election has been officially shifted to March 24, 2024, just two and a half weeks away.

This announcement came through a press statement released by the presidency on Wednesday, concluding a series of political tensions that ensued following the initial postponement of the election, originally slated for February 25.
