In Senegal, the Council of Ministers has approved a sweeping reform aimed at rationalising the parapublic sector.

The communication, adopted during Wednesday’s meeting, was presented by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko as part of efforts to modernise national administration.

The reform seeks to significantly reduce state spending while strengthening overall governance and institutional efficiency.
