Senegal launched the Lancet’s Countdown to 2030 report in Dakar on Monday, spotlighting critical gaps in maternal and child health care.
The report, developed by over 50 global experts, assesses health coverage and quality across 80 low and middle-income countries.
It highlights concerns about achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3 on “Good Health and Well-being” by the target year.
Senegal’s Minister of Health chaired the event, calling for stronger action to improve health outcomes for women and children.
