Two of the 300 prisoners who benefited from the presidential pardon in Senegal, on the eve of Tabaski, have been re-arrested by Senegalese police.

One of the two, identified as Thiaw, is said to have murdered someone.

According to sources, the convict took the life of a young fashion designer in the Yeumbeul area, in the Dakar suburbs.

Enraged residents were about to lynch the suspect when he was saved in time by the police, just in the nick of time.

The second beneficiary of the presidential pardon is a Guinean national.

In his case, reports say that instead of returning to his country following his release, A. Ba decided to return to his old behavior of thievery but got unlucky again when he was caught in the middle of stealing in Senegal. He was also caught using Indian hemp.

These two outlaws are now headed back to prison, days after having been pardoned by President Diomaye Faye.
