The Appeals Committee of the Confederation of African Football has annulled Senegal’s victory at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Following a protest submitted by Morocco, the committee found that Senegal had violated Articles 82 and 84 of the competition’s regulations.
As a result, Morocco has been declared champions of Africa by default.
While Morocco has acknowledged the decision, Senegal has rejected the ruling and says it will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
