In Senegal, health authorities have confirmed a rise in deaths linked to the Rift Valley Fever outbreak that began in September.

So far, the epidemic has claimed 20 lives, with new infections still being reported in some regions.

During a hybrid press conference, officials reassured the public that several patients under treatment have recovered and that surveillance and response efforts are being intensified.

The Ministry of Health continues to urge citizens to observe preventive measures, particularly in areas where livestock farming is common.
