Dakar is set to host the fourth edition of the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) from August 31 to September 5, 2025. The annual event, championed by President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, will focus on “Leading Collaboration, Innovation, and the Implementation of Agri-Food Systems Transformation.”

AFSF Director General Amath Pathe Sene told WADR that the summit aims to attract investment for young agripreneurs, create job opportunities for youth and women, and scale up innovative agricultural models across the continent.

The event will also showcase policies, technologies, and solutions designed to strengthen Africa’s food systems and improve resilience in the face of climate and economic challenges.
