Senegal’s Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko has revealed major audits into state management under the previous regime.

Speaking before the National Assembly, he detailed irregularities in public asset management, including questionable transactions involving state property.

Key concerns include the controversial sale of Rebeuss prison and the division of courthouse land.

Sonko announced a stakeholders’ meeting next week with trade unions to address their demands.
