More than a thousand journalists and media professionals in Senegal have been trained ahead of the February 2024 presidential election.

The National Council for Media Regulation CNRA and the Convention of Young Reporters in Senegal CJRS completed a series of training workshops in Dakar and other in the country regions ensure accurate coverage of the coming elections.

Migui Marame Ndiaye, President of the CJRS,  said the aim of these workshops is to familiarize participants with the electoral code, which has recently been amended.
