In Senegal, the Ministry of Communication has published an official list of over 200 recognised media organisations.

This announcement follows the review of 600 media declarations, with the aim of regulating the press sector.

However, the list has been met with resistance from the CDEPS, the organisation representing press executives, who have rejected the move.
