In Senegal, a two-week International Monetary Fund mission has come to an end in Dakar.

The IMF team, in the country since late October, assessed Senegal’s debt sustainability and explored terms for a possible new program.

With discussions still ongoing, the Senegalese government says talks with the institution will continue as both sides work toward a final agreement.
