In Senegal, the nationwide strike by the Autonomous Union of Health Workers has entered its second day.

The strike, which began on Wednesday, February 26, precedes a crucial social dialogue scheduled for today, February 27, chaired by Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.

Unions are pushing for open discussions with the government to address the country’s pressing socio-economic challenges.
