Senegal and Kenya have signed a visa waiver agreement allowing citizens of both countries to travel visa-free for up to 90 days. The deal, finalized on Tuesday, aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and boost trade, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two nations.
The agreement eliminates the need for prior visa formalities and is part of broader efforts to promote intra-African mobility.
The signing took place in Nairobi during an official visit by Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, who held bilateral talks with Kenyan President William Ruto.
Both leaders also discussed strengthening economic cooperation and addressing regional and global challenges of shared concern.
