A Civil Society Organization BudgIT-Senegal on Wednesday October 23, launched an initiative themed “Promoting Community Leadership and Civic Participation of Vulnerable Communities in Public Financial Management in Senegal”.

This project is intended to pique civic interest and promote inclusive governance by targeting youth and women with budget provisions that directly impact them.

The project comes as discussions around the accountability, development, and efficient use of public resources have become crucial in the West African sub-region.
