Several experts, including Civil Society sctors have lent their voices to the recently launched SENEGAL 2050 strategic document.
Recall at the launch on Monday October 15, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye reeled out the main points of this new framework, which is structured around four pillars, that to includes:
1. A competitive and job-creating economy,
2. Sustainability and regional planning,
3. Strengthening human capital and social equity,
4. Governance and African commitment.
The president also stressed the need to enhance the country’s natural resources, through local processing and integration into global value chains, while prioritizing the promotion of sustainable management of natural resources.
