Former UN advisor Professor Baffour Agyeman Duah has given a positive assessment of President John Mahama’s administration, one year into office.
Speaking after the government marked its first year on January 7, 2026, Prof. Agyeman Duah highlighted progress in governance and economic management, noting the President’s determination to leave a lasting legacy in his second term.
He commended the government’s handling of the sharply depreciating cedi, describing the intervention measures as decisive and effective.
However, he cited the removal of former Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo as a low point in the administration’s first year.
