Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama, has formed an eight-member Constitutional Review Committee to strengthen the nation’s governance framework.

The committee will assess past constitutional reforms and recommend amendments, addressing gaps identified by the 2010 Constitution Review Commission and the 2023 Constitution Review Consultative Committee.

This initiative aims to enhance governance by ensuring effective implementation of reforms and addressing lingering challenges in the country’s constitutional framework.
