Diomaye Faye on Wednesday celebrated Eid-Fitr in the capital Dakar, a day after he chaired his government’s first council of ministers during which a 5 POINT Action plan was launched.

The emphasis on forgiveness to all that have wronged him aligns with Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko’s promise that there would be no revenge or any witchhunt.

For President Faye, it is important to wipe the slate clean and move forward in Senegal’s best interest.
