Laurent Gbagbo’s party, PPACI, has reaffirmed his candidacy for the 2025 elections despite legal ineligibility concerns.

The announcement came during the launch of the third edition of the Renaissance Festival in Abidjan, celebrating Gbagbo’s return after his ICC acquittal.

This year’s festival, themed “Laurent Gbagbo: From The Hague to the Presidency in 2025,” is set for April.
