Organized labour in Ghana is proceeding with its nationwide strike today as communicated as it prepares to take a decision on the way forward. It comes after SSNIT announced the termination of the agreement to divest 60% of its interest in four hotels to the Minister for Agriculture and MP for Abetifi, Bryan Acheampong’s Rock City Hotel Limited has been cancelled.
An announcement by Rock City Hotel Limited of the withdrawal of its bid, along with SSNIT’s communication of the termination of the divestiture process, has not stopped organized labour from proceeding with its industrial action.
