Ghana’s opposition has criticized the 2025 budget, accusing the government of misleading the public about the state of the economy.
Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson had scrapped key taxes, including the E-Levy, but the opposition dismissed his presentation as uninspiring.
Former Finance Minister Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam challenged the claims, saying they painted a misleading economic picture.
