Niger’s Prime Minister, Mahamane Lamine Zeine, continues his diplomatic tour, having recently visited Morocco.
His latest stop was in Chad, where he was warmly received by the president of the transitional government.
The discussions during the visit, which marks the first after the lifting of Ecowas sanctions against Niger, centered on various issues, with a particular focus on security.
Prime Minister’s agenda included talks on diversifying cooperation between Niamey and N’Djamena, as well as enhancing security along the common borders.
The President of Chad extended congratulations to the Niger authorities, expressing optimism that the removal of sanctions would alleviate the suffering of the population.
this visit to Chad by Mahamane Lamine Zeine marks his third since assuming leadership of the transitional government.
