The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) office in Nigeria is calling for support and empathy for children formerly associated with armed groups in the Northeast region.
UNICEF’s Chief Field Officer in the country, Phuong Nueng, made the appeal during the commemoration of the 2024 International Day Against The Use of Child Soldiers, also known as the Red Hat Daimy in Borno State.
