Authorities in Borno State say sustained security efforts have significantly weakened terrorist groups in the region.

The state has endured over a decade of insurgency, but coordinated operations among security agencies are yielding positive results.

Police spokesperson ASP Nahum Daso Kenneth says these efforts have contributed to the growing stability in Borno.
