The Nigerian government is being urged to exempt stockfish and other seafood products from import duty to reduce the cost of high-quality protein and ensure availability.

The call was made by stakeholders in the stockfish business, including the Norwegian Seafood Council, importers, and dealers, at a seminar in Lagos.
