In less than 72 hours, the Nigeria Customs Service has intercepted yet another huge consignment of arms and ammunition.
This new bust involved the interception of 55 pieces of unassembled semi-automatic short guns at the cargo airport in the Lagos State.
Addressing the press, Adewale Adeniyi, Commissioner General of the Nigeria Customs Service, stated that everything started as a piece of intelligence for the Mohammed Murtala Airport Command.
He explained that the arms were concealed in shower faucets and valued at 270, 888,000 naira (approximately 177,486 dollars)
