A coalition of civil society organizations in Nigeria is urging the government to address human rights violations during deportations.

At a press conference on Thursday, CSOnetMADE and NACTAL raised concerns about mistreatment of deported citizens.

The groups called for stricter oversight and legal reforms to ensure humane deportation procedures.

They also urged international agencies to hold responsible authorities accountable for reported abuses.
