The Nigerian Army has dismantled 27 illegal refining sites in a renewed crackdown on oil theft and pipeline vandalism across the Niger Delta.
The operation, carried out in four oil-producing states, also led to several arrests and the confiscation of equipment used in the illicit trade.
Authorities say the joint security patrol, which has been ongoing, is yielding significant results in curbing economic sabotage in the region.
The Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to protecting national assets and restoring environmental integrity in affected communities.
