Health experts and government agencies in Nigeria are meeting in Abuja for a crucial two-day workshop focused on emergency preparedness. The event is part of the INFORM Africa project, aimed at strengthening the country’s ability to respond to future epidemics and pandemics.
Participants are being trained to use specialized tools that help visualize and manage health data effectively—an essential step toward early warning systems and rapid response strategies.
The workshop is backed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health and marks a significant push to build a more resilient and data-driven health system across Nigeria.
