President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emphasized the critical role of the private sector in advancing ECOWAS’s economic integration agenda.

Addressing the 93rd Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Council of Ministers in Abuja via Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar Maitama, Tinubu urged member states to create favorable environments for private sector growth.

He also called for deliberate strategies to enhance intra-regional trade, underscoring its importance in fostering economic unity within the region.
