The Nigerian government has unveiled a ₦25,000 (approximately $33) cash transfer program targeting 15 million households, aiming to assist around 75 million citizens.
Speaking about the initiative, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Nentawe Yilwatda, explained that the scheme will provide ₦25,000 to each household monthly, with payments scheduled three times a year.
