A series of suicide bombings has rocked Gwoza, a town in Borno State, North East Nigeria, killing 18 people and injuring 42 others on Saturday 29th June, 2024.

The attacks, which occurred on Saturday between 3:30pm  and 6:30pm, targeted a wedding ceremony, a hospital, a burial site, and a checkpoint enforcing curfew hours.
