As Nigeria record’s 53 deaths and 1,528 suspected cases of cholera across 107 local government areas in 31 states as of Monday, Abuja, the country’s capital, has been described as highly vulnerable to the outbreak.
Although so far, only one unconfirmed case has been recorded in the city, the State Epidemiologist for the Territory, Dr. Theresa Ekaete, Nwachukwu said factors of vulnerability are prevalent in the nation’s capital.
