The Nigerian National Assembly has set a target date of December 2025 for the complete amendment of the country’s Constitution.
Lawmakers during a meeting held at the Parliamentary building on Thursday, agreed that it was important to set a realistic date for the committee on Constitutional Review to do a thorough job.
As WADR’s Usman Umar reports, the process began in 2010 when it was first handed over to the country in 1999 by the military regime of General Abdulsalam Abubakar.
