At least a hundred people were reportedly killed in an attack on Christmas eve in Nigeria’s northcentral state of Plateau where clashes between herders and farmers are common.

A local youth leader from one of the impacted areas stated that the violence resulted in the deaths of more than fifty people across three Local Government Areas.
