All pupils abducted from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Papiri, Niger State, have been released following the freedom of the remaining 130 victims.
Officials from the Office of the National Security Adviser confirmed the development on Sunday, bringing the total number of rescued pupils to 230.
The release ends days of anxiety for families and communities affected by the abduction, which had sparked nationwide outrage and renewed fears over school safety.
