Nigeria’s exports to fellow ECOWAS countries hit 1.54 trillion naira (approximately $1.96 billion) in the third quarter of 2024, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The report highlights Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Ghana as some of the top importers of Nigerian goods, reflecting the country’s growing trade ties within the subregion.
This performance underscores Nigeria’s critical role in regional trade and the potential for further strengthening intra-African economic integration.
