The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has launched decisive airstrikes in Zamfara State, targeting and neutralizing loyalists of infamous bandit leaders Dan-Isuhu and Dogo Sule.
The strikes, conducted as part of Operation Fansan Yamma, aimed to disrupt coordinated attacks reportedly being planned by the bandits. According to NAF officials, intelligence reports indicated that the targeted locations were key meeting points for the criminal groups.
These efforts are part of an intensified military campaign to combat banditry in Zamfara and restore peace in the region. While the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed, the operation is said to have dealt a significant blow to the bandits’ operational capabilities.
Residents in affected areas have expressed cautious optimism, hoping the sustained military efforts will bring much-needed security and stability to the region.
