Niger’s Prime Minister, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, is in Dakar for the Invest in Senegal Forum (FII Senegal) 2025, held from October 7–8 at the CICAD conference center in Diamniadio.

Welcomed by Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, Zeine’s visit marks a new chapter in Niger–Senegal relations, following recent diplomatic exchanges earlier this year.

The forum, organized by APIX under the patronage of President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, aims to make Dakar a regional investment hub and promote cross-border economic partnerships.

Talks between the two leaders centered on expanding cooperation and identifying new investment opportunities between Niger and Senegal.
