The Ivorian Minister of Transport, Amadou Koné, has announced the arrival, by the end of December, of nearly 300 new buses and a dozen water buses as part of a government initiative that aims to strengthen the country’s vehicle fleet.
This announcement was made after the minister learnt of the immobility of several buses, the main causes of which are often linked to acts of vandalism, breakdowns and traffic accidents.
Out of nearly 2,053 rolling stock, approximately 629 are capable of making trips.
